Macadamia Cream on Toasted Rye

A plain and simple breakfast that so quick and easy to make. This delicious toast is a great and flavourful option when you are in a rush. Packed with loads of flavour, energy and goodness!

Prepraration Time: 7 minutes


Ingredients



2 slices 100% Rye bread (I use 100% rye from Fresh Earth) or bread of your choice

1 tbsp. Coconut cream

1 tbsp. Macadamia nut butter (Natures choice)

1 tsp. Cinnamon

1 tsp. Raw honey

½ tsp. Vanilla extract


Toppings

5 crushed walnuts

4 sliced strawberries

1 tsp. cinnamon

Maple syrup to taste


Instructions

Step 1:
Combine coconut cream, vanilla extract, honey and  macadamia nut butter insmall food processor and blend until smooth cream forms.

Step 2:
Toast 100% rye in oven or toaster until lightly browned

Step 3:
Spread macadamia cream generously over toasted rye slices

Step 4:
Top with sliced fresh strawberries, walnuts, a sprinkle of cinnamon andmaple syrup
