Hydrating Lemon Mint Fusion

Who said water has to be boring? Water infusions are one of my favourite ways to hydrate. The simple pairing of fresh ingredients and spices with spring water can make for a delicious and refreshing drink. Infused waters can also be transformed into herbal teas which are ideal for those cold Wintery days.

Servings: 4-6

Preparation Time: 5 mins


Ingredients

Half a lemon sliced into wedges

Half a punnet of fresh mint

1 tablespoon of organic dried spearmint

Half teaspoon cinnamon

1 litre of spring water boiled


Instructions

Add dried spearmint to a clean empty glass jug.
Pour boiled spring water into jug and allow spearmint to infuse for 3 minutes
Add lemon slices and fresh mint to standing spring water
Sprinkle cinnamon and stir gently
Allow to stand and infuse for approximately 20 minutes
Cover and place in fridge

Serving Suggestion

Enjoy cool or warmed with a dollop of raw honey
